TRIBUTE: DEADLOCK REBEL

I'm the last one you'll ever cross.

SHE'S HERE.

Ashe is perhaps the longest I've ever actively been involved with a character, by seeing and playing her every day, and even just that hour or so was not enough for me once I accidentally became entirely devoted to her. I have so many fics that I've written about Ashe over the years, and one of my alts in FFXIV is an AU of Ashe. She is the centre of my universe. I had to do this for her. And a measly thirty four thousand words later, here we go. Now I can go back to fic I need to look at... after some basking, of course. Love you Ashe.

I still have a few more things I'd like to add as detailed on the plans page, which is why splitting the site up as I have with a personal section is so paramount as I can keep talking about my love for her in myriad different ways. Watch this space.

As always, Norvrandt has been updated to list Deadlock Rebel as a current site. Realistically speaking, do not expect two new sites in two weeks from me ever again :')

I added additional reading pages for two new characters, Lucina and Shepard respectively. I thought about using some of Femshep's official art but opted for a screenshot of my Shepard, Ryan, instead.

DOMAIN: PALAVEN
A placeholder for now, but I bought another domain: palaven.org, after being approved for Garrus' fanlisting. Mass Effect has been on the brain recently. I get the feeling I'm going to make something for my dearest Shakarian in some way at some point, though perhaps I should also revisit the tribute I was once going to make for James Vega too...

NEW FANLISTINGS

Ok it's been a bit.

First thing's first: I moved hosting providers in October last year to A2 Hosting and am now settled in. The reason for this was ssl certs: whilst I still register my domains with Namecheap, ssl is sold as an mtx per subdomain, whereas A2 includes it as part of the cost and I understandably did not want to pay extra for what I didn't need to. So! I moved.

Secondly, I have been working on a big project which I have finished the first draft for; I wrote perhaps two thirds of it last October, took some breaks for writing month/unfinished fic/new fic, and returned to it recently. I'm letting it sit for a while before I start my edits but I am aiming to have my tribute to Ashe up in March sometime.

Thirdly, I have been having a lot of food issues (my body is rejecting many substances, which leads into other not so fun things due to lack of variety, whose fault is that bud). This has led to a lot of layout designing whenever I haven't had the brain for words - I have layouts for two things I added to my projects list for the year sorted. I'm not certain when I'll get to writing either of them though.

DOMAIN: FARRON
farron.net received an update and is now a button wall of links out to places across the network. It still features Lightning and Serah, as it should.

COLLECTIVE: JANE DOE: JOINED FANLISTINGS
My joined fanlistings page got a new look to match Jane Doe, featuring Yukari from Persona 3: Reload. I'm in the slow process of checking for dead links and things that have moved; but once I've done that, perhaps I will join a few.

there actually isn't anything noteworthy from between 2020 - the end of 2023. I did move domains in October '23, and it is indeed now May '24... it just... took me that long to finish moving. I did most of it prior to having a long awaited surgery and six months later, BAM, here's a site making mood and i've made three layouts in the last week but that's how it is sometimes. SO. HERE WE GO.

I'm also in the process of probably considering a new host. we'll see how that one goes. i foresee chaos.

DOMAIN: NORVRANDT
After nearly ten years, Nevarra wasn't the place I longed to be, and so I chose to move my primary domain to Norvrandt.org. Hopefully this will be the LAST AND FINAL TIME. I fell completely in love with Shadowbringers when I first played it in 2021, and the first version of Norvrandt features Lakeland and one of my (many, many) wols.

"No more niche fandom domains," I said to myself. "You have closed so many". Good point! However, none of these were for the love of my life Elizabeth Caledonia Ashe, were they? And so I registered deadlockrebel.org. Perhaps, a tribute? Soon? Maybe. I am never not thinking about Ashe these days.

COLLECTIVE: JANE DOE
As of a few days ago - when I finished moving the last of my fanlistings themselves - Jane Doe has migrated to Norvrandt, and has a brand new layout to go with it, featuring Aigis from Persona 3: Reload.

TRIBUTE: PROMISES
For whatever reason, special characters broke on Promises (and a few other sites too, which are in the pipeline to correct; I'll edit this post when they're done since they're minor changes). Promises is fixed, though! I went through and updated some links and adjusted the coding to make the font slightly larger. Back to being static.

TRIBUTE: PICK A GOD AND PRAY
Pick A God And Pray was also pruned for special character errors and have all now been fixed. I also added new linking back buttons and made some adjustments to the layout for larger resolutions.
