DOMAIN: FARRON's temporary page was updated to include a functional list of links; it'll likely remain static from this point on, unless I suddenly get inspired to expand it.

A small change, in which I updated the presentation for my upcoming sites (again) - or those that I at least plan to do for this year. I also updated the current sites page with the surprise tribute, listed below.

I also updated my contact page with a new design for this year, featuring Lunafreya from Final Fantasy XV.

One of the earliest sites I always wanted to make was for Fire Emblem as a series, but it was something I always pushed back as I couldn't figure out how to tackle such a long subject matter; until I got hit by an epiphany that I didn't have to talk about everything, and just how I would present this site. Having had it in the back of my mind for years, it was extremely easy to word vomit an entire tribute in the space of a week. I'm still shocked this was a thing that happened, but it did, and it has, and my blue sky, dream tribute is here!

It's very opinionated, and a relaxed way to shrining, and I enjoyed the entire (secret) process. Pick A God And Pray is up over at taguel.

It also had a small update today, with a new banner for the Tellius pages because Sanaki (!!) was added to Heroes, which is the artwork I'm using for the headers.

Four new linking buttons were added, and I've started to use my listography to keep track of my site to-do list - it's linked up on Nevarra for tributes I have in mind, and those I'm working on.

Softly Call has been renamed yet again, this time to Jane Doe! I'm satisfied with this one - I'm all about those unwritten ladies that will take over my heart when I least expect it. I look forward to meeting you, lovelies.

Jane Doe also has a new layout in celebration of the rename, featuring Lucina from Fire Emblem: Awakening. I've never had a layout featuring Lucina before, but that's now fixed and I'm super happy about it because everything is so, so purple. I also reworked how my fanlistings were presented, so it's a lot more minimal and a lot more interactive. Many a ten minutes have been lost to me marveling at this piece of coding, I gotta say. Sorry not sorry.

My joined fanlistings page also has a new layout, and I'm tentatively dropped naming it, though I guess it's j'adore for the time being? Anyway, it features Edna, is super brown and simple, and it'll likely stay around for another, oh, two years or so.

The exit page has been added up with links to other XIII sites, and Promises is now listed at Badass Bitches, Emotion, and Those Who Fight! I did a cursory re-read of everything a couple of weeks ago, and it's likely I'll go through again when I'm not sick anymore, whenever... that... happens.

Why do I bother and why does this keep happening. "Later," I say. Later turns into eight months. As is, everything other than the fanlisting updates took place within the last two weeks, so that's more a case of nothing to report.

Nothing noteworthy, but I made a new temporary page for, since I never got round to it last time. I might try to make a layout from this one... eventually.

Nevarra had a couple of updates in the form of projects for 2017! For the first time ever I managed to complete something on this page, so I went ahead and gave it a look over. My Old Kingdom tribute is next in the pipeline, but it'll remain a slow, steady slog - but as I wrote a Nanworimo opus based in this universe, it will be done. Very, very slowly.

Aside from Old Kingdom, I'm teasing ideas with making a tribute for Prompto from Final Fantasy XV, but his will be a slower sort of thing. We'll see if anything else comes out this year as a surprise? You never know.

As of yesterday, has a brand new layout for the new year! This one features the cast of XV, because regardless of what Square says, they will remain part of Fabula Nova Crystallis in my heart. Anyways, since I hadn't made a layout in about eight months I didn't do anything fancy with this one in terms of coding - it's very lazily swiped from the last variant with different fonts and more recent preferences. However, I'm all for the simplicity. It's nice; it turned out better than I expected and serves my XV needs for the time being.

Hold onto your hats, folks, Rems actually completed a thing! That being, Promises, my tribute for the lovely Serah Farron from Final Fantasy XIII, is now online and is complete! Well, mostly - there's a media section I might add if I feel like it, and I still need to list her everywhere, but she's here and she's ready for your views. This one has been a long, long process of maybe four or six years, but it wasn't until 2016 when I got of my butt and actually made some plans and outlines when I was approved for her fanlisting.

The layout is the same as it was, though it was always made with this tribute in mind. I'm very pleased! It's been a lot of work, but I've proved to myself I'm capable of doing it. Awyea.

My tribute to the Old Kingdom series by Garth Nix is now online over at Does The Walker Choose The Path?! With the longest title ever, oops. The site is a part of Amassment's Construction Zone and as such there's very little to see at the moment aside from the layout, the index, the linking buttons and credits, and is a work in progress (my focus is with Serah), but I'm hoping to add to it! This is quite an undertaking since it's a large universe to write about, but we'll see how I go. I have a few ideas of what I'd like to write about in depth as well as a site outline, so it's full speed ahead. Or, slow speed ahead.

A small update for Destino of some link fixing and adding up the fanlisting to the site; I also played a bit with the coding to improve legibility (the font size is bigger and the line spacing is larger now, since that's what I like to do these days).

First thing's first, has a new layout! This one features Kinomoto Sakura as a prince. In all my years of owning Fractured, Sakura was never a layout headliner, even though the domain was partly named after her... oh well. Prince Sakura is here with us now! I've loved this image for a very long time and I'm happy to come up with something for it. At first, I conceptualised this layout much smaller, but that wasn't working for me, so I decided to go bigger and now it's one of my most favourite layouts that I've ever made. There's some different coding tricks from my norm and I made use of a lot of many, many (span) tags to get where we are now, but I'm pleased.

With the new layout, I also went ahead and rewrote my network showcase (with a few new images) and expanded upon what's coming soon and whittled the list down to what I'd like to have completed by the end of the 2016. Both the tributes have layouts already, so now it's just sitting down and working on the content that needs doing.

The domain and webmistress pages also received some small changes and updates.

Unrelated to this layout, but my contact page also has a new design.

I went round and fixed a bunch of little typos and errors and updated my contact page. None of this really deserves going under Nevarra, but just as a heads up.

Softly Call has a new layout! This one features Ezio Auditore. Syndicate sort of brought me back into the fold. In a stark contrast to the last, this one is mainly white and red, the colour of the assassins, because, edgy. There's also a story behind it; I'm signed up to Ubiworkshop, and in their recent promotion for Ezio's leap of faith figure, I spotted this concept art, which I've naturally never seen before since I only got into the series the year Black Flag was released. I had to have it, and I had to make a layout with it, and so, here we are. I did a bit of experimenting with this one to try and get the image to 'fade' naturally once the text came in; I think it works quite well. It also doesn't line up because animus, helix glitches, ever the creative... I also broke the unspoken font rule, but I think on this occasion, it's okay. Hopefully.

I also rewrote the about page (it's about time!) and hopefully this one will be satisfactory to me later down the road.

Destino, my tribute for Kairi, has moved over to as part of the previous update. (I realised I didn't tag it in the last one. Oh, well! It's here now.)

End of the year updates round-up, since I fell out of using this journal again (oops). There's been a lot of changes so I'll try to make this as concise as possible. As always, you can find to-the-minute updates over at [ profile] fracturedkey!

This year was the tenth anniversary of fractured, but with it coming up for renewal, I decided to go for something fresh. I've started going by the new alias of Rems and purchased the domain, which is now my network hub! The first version features Commander Jane Shepard from Mass Effect, as I finally got into the series in summer (and I love that image, dayum).

Everything was updated accordingly and everything on the domain was revamped in some way, whether it be information, contact, 404 pages and just about everything else. There's new linking buttons too for those who haven't noticed; fractured will be expiring in the next few months.

For the best part of eight years I have been hosted by godaddy, but have decided to make the move to namecheap, and in early December everything was migrated from one server to another. Everything is essentially done, except for what's on keyofdestiny, which, like fractured, is another domain I will be letting go of (all my KH related content will be moving onto cieth) - I'm hoping to do this in the new week or two. Along with the move to a brand new server, I also bought another (yep) domain,, to keep everything neatly organised. At the moment, I have no long term plans for it, but it does host several of my FFXIII fanlistings that are related to the Farron sisters in some way.

Florete expired and I settled with in order to replace it (so many new domains, I'm sorry). The layout features Panne, the domain's namesake, and though again, I have no real long term plan for it, I do actually have some content on there! Gasp.

Said content on taguel, Even the Odds is a Fire Emblem class clique, using the classes Robin (and Morgan) can change to in Awakening, due to the ease of using Awakening sprites to have some consistency. Please do join if you're interested!

Softly Call also has a new layout! As much as I loved Nilin, I felt it was time for a change (especially as with a slower internet connection these days, oh, how it hated that layout) and so went for something smaller. And darker. You know me and dark layouts - they don't generally mix well together, but I actually came up with something I rather like and the more time that passes, the more I like it, so I call that a success. This layout features Cassandra's romance tarot from Dragon Age: Inquisition (because I have a warrior Thing, it seems).

On a slightly different front, I'm considering majorly cutting back on my fanlistings. I'm not much into animanga these days except for the firm favourites, so I'm considering hacking back on all of them except for CLOVER, and also cutting down on some of the songs, Fire Emblem fanlistings, and what not to go back down to under forty and just keep the current interests active. We'll see, though, but it's looking like a yes right now.

I totally forgot to update after doing a bunch of stuff in summer, oops... it's now the end of January... updates round-up it is!

The only recent thing here (as of yesterday), has a new layout! I actually made most of the design in September, but for some reason couldn't get it to work the way I wanted, and then yesterday, was able to figure out how to fix it and salvage it, sinec I quite liked the design. Small successes! It's got a few interesting tweaks and quirks that I haven't used before, so that was a fun experience.

As well as the layout, I also went round and tweaked the webmistress page so it's a bit more compact.

Destino was updated with a brand new layout (that I'm still very fond of!), using one of the promotional images for KH1.5. As well as being updated, eveything - everything is finished, and after eight years of working on and off and several hiatus', it's finally complete! I'm just not cut out for shrines, woe.

Wish Upon A Star has been completely revamped to feature my top nine fanlistings I'd like to run. I debated tweaking it some more, but I'm happy with the minimalism!

Some new linking buttons have been added, and the affiliates page has been completely revised! Second, I also added some upcoming projects, which begins the reintroduction of an upcoming site page, heh. For the time being, you can see waiting pages for both the Serah and Old Kingdom Trilogy tributes. One day. Soon, hopefully...

Proudly presenting my latest creation and newest addition to the Lonely Princess family,! Yep, I bought another domain, and this time it's a Final Fantasy named one, after the cie'th of the Final Fantasy XIII subseries. Officially, it'll be known as the Fate Defier Organization, but cieth works just as well. Nice and short and simple. It's likely this will replace keyofdestiny when it expires, but for now, all my Final Fantasy fanlistings have been moved over and the layout is completed with a wide array of codes. This one, unlike the simplicity I'm fond of, is much more busy and features brushes (gasp) and textures. It's also not centered, and uses a lot of pastel colouring, similar to Axel/Roxas which I made a week or so before, which was done by accident, and I found I quite liked using pastels so aimed for something very pastelesque. Alongside this, I used some coding I hadn't used before by hiding text and rounding images in the browser, which was a good experience. Either way, I am very pleased and happy with this layout. Hopefully it stays that way!

Some new linking buttons have been added.

I now have a Pokémon collective, named after the famed quote from Youngster Joey in Gold/Silver. Whilst I don't have any strict sites or tributes planned at present, pokémon are a good starting point for OPS and smaller shrines, so, perhaps in the future. Maybe for Espeon. Anyway, I have moved Zorua over to the collective and it has several affiliates as well as favourite pokémon listed. The layout is also very simple and based off a pokeball, I didn't want anything fancy, and I think it's paid off.

Softly Call has a brand new layout with all the trimmings! Unlike the last two, this one isn't a rehash of old coding and is something entirely different, using some experimental coding on my part. The layout features Nilin from the video game Remember Me; Nilin has quickly become one of my favourite characters (as has her game become one of my favourites ever), and as much as I love it, the music, and the design, I also really love it's colour palette, so I made use of that in the layout, as well as similar fonts (Helvetica Nue, specifically; Oxygen from Google Fonts was a happy coincidence on the list I'd picked out as ones I like to use). As a result, the colours are slightly different from normal, but I do enjoy it and how it works with the image I chose for the layout. I also made the layout mostly static, so only the text part scrolls, so it's suitable for larger screens and most resolutions. I'd recommend giving full screen a whirl!

Blowing off the dust! TFL is back, and I've relocated my inspiration. So, that's where you went...

DOMAIN: FRACTURED has a brand new layout! Very simple, lots of clean lines, vastly preferred to the prior. The layout features Kat from Gravity Rush.

Holding On has been renamed to Softly Call. The almost year break gave me some time to truly ponder, and it's just something I'm not really connecting with anymore as a name, so, time for a change! The name is inspired by The Parting Glass, a folk song sung by Anne Bonny in Assassin's Creed IV. Because I am heavily into that series at the moment. Much to my endless despair. Anyway! All buttons have been changed and updated to reflect this, and a few new ones have been added.

I'm happy to announce that all content has been revamped, rewritten, and some new things have been added, too... not to mention the new layout and the new site name! I happily present Destino, long in the works and finally ready for public browsing. I still have one or two pages to complete but I shall get those done in the near future.

On a less happier note, I closed five fanlistings today, and a couple have been adopted out.

Holding On has a new layout, and everything that comes with it has been changed. The layout features Lumina from the upcoming third part of the Final Fantasy XIII saga. Lumina is presented as morally ambigious (debatably the bad guy), so we shall see how that pans out... either way, as for the layout itself, it's largely uncreative and reusing older coding, and the image itself is rather bland, but! I wanted a change, and this is what I came up with. I also wanted a lighter layout, too.

My computer of almost four years crashed out. At first, it was just the power cable - common problem with the model - then after working for five minutes after that was fixed, it promptly died. Thanks for that.

Anyway, everything has been moved over to my new laptop and during this process I noticed an issue with the latest version of Firefox coupled with me using Windows 7 as an OS; the font Arial Narrow refused to be displayed. This is due to Windows 7 grouping them into families, but Firefox cannot read them the same way as they used to. However! There was a workaround, so I've been through the coding on each of my sites and fanlistings and everything should again be displaying as it should in Firefox.

Chrome and other browsers, as far as I can tell, are unaffected.
